Part-Time Hourly Benefit Information

Retirement Plan

If your hours worked are more than 800 with in the fiscal year, MAC will contribute 7% of your ase annual salary to TIAA-CREF. This cintribution is made by MAC at no cost of the employee.

Austin Sawyer Scholarship:

For a freshman who is the child, step child or spouse of a full time or part time MAC employee.

Credit Union:

MAC is a member of the AmeriCU Federal Credit Union and the Mohawk Valley Federal Credit Union of Utica. Contact Payroll/Benefits Office for further information.

Jury Duty:

MAC will pay employee for the full day with proof of jury summons.

Direct Deposit:

Available with any bank - authorization forms available upon request, up to 4 accounts, 2 for checking and 2 for savings.

Fitness Room:

Available for unlimited use to all MAC employees for a $60.00 charge per semester.

Tuition Reimbursement:

Flex Spending Account:

If your hours worked are more than 800 with in the first fiscal year and you have worked continuously for one year you will be eligible for this benefit. Flex benefit begins every January 1st to December 31st. This is an account you can set up to pay for dependent care or medical expenses not covered by an insurance plan. Flex is a use it or lose it account. Contact the Payrool/Benefit Office for more details.

Meals

MAC provides up to $5.25 a meal during your scheduled shift to use at any dining location on campus.

The MAC shared coputer is for all employees to use. It has internet access with links on the desktop directly to import benefit websites such as:
