Housing Services

Laundry:

Every residence hall has washers and dryers for your use. They are located in the bottom of each residence hall. There is no charge for cold water wash or to use the dryers. This is included in your residence hall service fee. Your clothes will come clean in cold water if you use cold water detergents. If you need hot water, there is one machine in each laundry room that uses hot water. The cost for this machine is only a quarter. If you have any problems with any laundry equipment, please call 684.6324 to report the problem.

Refrigerator/Microwave Rentals:

Costello Equipment from Utica, NY offers refrigerator and microwave rentals to students. Students may rent for a school year or a semester. The units will be delivered to your dorm room the first three days of school and will be picked up from your dorm room the last three days of school. The appliances will need to be emptied of all food and cleaned before it is picked up at the end of the school year. Refuse/Recycling:

Madison County has an active recycling program and the campus is highly involved. Morrisville State College students have led the county in recycling over the past few years and hope you will do your part in saving the earth. For Recycling Room Hours, please see posted information in the Residence Halls or Channel 4.

Vending Machines:

All residence halls and most academic buildings have vending machines filled with soda, chips, candy, and other snacks. The vending machines are stocked with brand names. The Shop 24 Vending Machine is also behind Seneca. Mac Plus can also be used on campus vending machines.Buy all your favorite snack foods!

Video Games:

If you like video games, we have them! The newest video games and pinball machines are at the Morrisville State College IcePlex.

Cable TV:

MAC operates the cable television system on campus. You automatically receive cable hookup if you reside in the residence hall. There are no additional costs. You will need a cable-ready television or a conversion box (available from a local electronics store).
